Backups that actually restore

A backup is only worth anything if it comes back cleanly, so we take automatic daily copies of your site and its database and keep several days of history — not just last night's. That matters when a problem started before you noticed it and yesterday's backup is already broken too.

We also test that restores work, because a backup you've never restored is a guess. If something goes wrong, we roll the site back to a known-good version quickly, and because we host and maintain the site, there's no third party to coordinate with first. The goal is simple: nothing you'd hate to lose is ever only in one place.

How far back do backups go?

We keep several days of history so you're not stuck with a single copy that may already contain the problem. If you need a longer retention window, we can set that up during onboarding.

What actually happens when I need a restore?

You tell us, or our monitoring catches it, and we roll the site back to the most recent clean version — usually quickly. Because we host and maintain the site, there's no separate host to wait on.
