Do I own my website and domain, or does the agency?
You should own both — and with Tobex you do. Your domain is registered in your name (or transferred to you), and on full payment you own the website's source code and the content we create for you. That's not universal: some providers register the domain in their own account, or build on a proprietary platform you can only rent, so leaving means losing your site, your URL, or both.
Always ask two questions before hiring anyone: "Whose name is the domain registered under?" and "Do I get the source code, or just a hosted login?" The domain especially matters — it's your address on the internet and often tied to your email; losing control of it is a genuine emergency.
