Do I own my website and domain, or does the agency?

You should own both — and with Tobex you do. Your domain is registered in your name (or transferred to you), and on full payment you own the website's source code and the content we create for you. That's not universal: some providers register the domain in their own account, or build on a proprietary platform you can only rent, so leaving means losing your site, your URL, or both.

Always ask two questions before hiring anyone: "Whose name is the domain registered under?" and "Do I get the source code, or just a hosted login?" The domain especially matters — it's your address on the internet and often tied to your email; losing control of it is a genuine emergency.

We set things up so you're never in that position: your domain, your code, your content, your accounts. We're a partner you stay with because you want to, not because you're locked in. If you already have a site and aren't sure who owns your domain, we can help you check and, if needed, get it back into your name.

How we build

We register or transfer the domain into your name and build on standards you own — no proprietary lock-in platform.

How we protect

Owning your domain protects your web address and business email from being held hostage if a vendor relationship ends.

How we grow

Because you own the asset, you can grow it with us or take it anywhere — the value you build stays yours.

Growth Partnership fit

"You own everything" — domain, code, content, accounts — is a core term of the Growth Partnership.
